FAQ's
WHO CAN USE GLADFUL?
IS GLADFUL THE SAME AS PROFESSIONAL THERAPY?
Gladful is a free to use app for anyone ages 18 and over. If you are struggling emotionally or simply need someone to talk to, then you can send a Flare on Gladful. If you want to offer advice and listen to someone else talk, then you can volunteer to become a Co-Pilot and respond to a Flare. All Gladful users can both send Flares and volunteer to respond to them.
IS GLADFUL ANONYMOUS?
No, Gladful is not professional therapy. The peers responding to Flares (Co-Pilots) on Gladful are people within our community who want to help others. Co-Pilots are not licensed professionals or therapists. Many people responding to Flares are also sending Flares for help, as in traditional peer support. Our community is built on people who have gone through similar hardships and want to help each other.
CAN THE PERSON I AM CONNECTED WITH ON GLADFUL BECOME MY FRIEND?
Yes, Gladful is 100% anonymous. The peer you are connected with on the Gladful app cannot see your personal information. They can only see your first name or initials and the answers you provide to the questions before the peer dialog occurs.
Gladful is an anonymous platform, and thus we prohibit the sharing of personal information. You may not share information such as your full name, location, email, phone number, etc. on the Gladful app.
IS THE APP AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON IOS AND ANDROID?
Our app will be available on both iOS and Android platforms when it fully launches. We are committed to providing a seamless experience for all users, regardless of their device preference. Our goal is to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for everyone. We appreciate your patience and look forward to anyone becoming apart of the Gladful Community.
